Good tyres determine a large part of your safety on the road. Winter tyres give you clearly more grip below 7 degrees, while summer tyres brake shorter and run quieter in the warm months. Prefer to drive on one set all year? A good all-season tyre is a fine choice for the Dutch climate. We give honest advice on what suits your car and driving style.

When do your tyres need replacing?

The legal minimum tread depth is 1.6 millimetres, but we advise replacing summer tyres at 2 millimetres and winter tyres at 4 millimetres. Age matters too: tyres older than eight years harden and lose grip, even with good tread. Not sure? Drop by and we will simply measure it for you.
